Invitation – Expression of Interest in appointment as Trustee to the Australian Podiatry and Education Research Foundation (APERF)
The Australian Podiatry and Research Foundation (APERF) was founded in 1990 to advance research into the causes, prevention and treatment of foot problems. Its mandate is the acquisition of funds for research, and the distribution of those funds to researchers with applications which meet the criteria required for annual research grants. With the generous help of the podiatry community it has supported over 30 research projects, and initiated a number of individuals into successful research careers. APERF is governed by a Board of Trustees, and it is intended that this number will be increased. The first step in the appointment of a Trustee is through registration of an expression of interest from appropriately skilled and qualified persons. Interested individuals are invited to formally register their nomination for this position. To do so, please provide the following details;
- Title, given name(s) surname
- Phone number(s) and email address
- Residential and workplace addresses
- Academic qualifications
- Other qualifications
- A brief statement outlining:
- relevant experience; research competence and experience
- the contributions to APERF which you would provide as a Trustee
Please forward expressions of interest either by formal correspondence or an MS Word file by email to:
