22nd
Australasian Podiatry Conference
EVOLUTION

People, Practice and Ideas Together
Grand
Chancellor Hotel, Hobart Tasmania
Tues
8th May – Sat 12th May 2007
Tasmania, well known for its natural
beauty will host the 22nd Australasian Podiatry Conference in
May 2007.
While the standard set in Christchurch
last year will be difficult to match, the Tasmanian conference
is gearing up to be a big one and will be an event not to be missed.
"...A fabulous programme,
and by far one of the best, most diverse programmes I've ever
seen at a podiatry conference. To be honest, it looks to be
equal to or better than many of the international meetings I've
attended in the past six years. The theming of the content is
excellent. The depth of local talent is exceptional. I can identify
at least 26 presentations by podiatrists with (or about to acquire
their) PhD's. This will most likely be some kind of record...",

of Public Health, Queensland University of Technology
Separated from mainland Australia
by the 250 km of Bass Strait Ocean, Tasmania is one of Australia’s
best kept secrets. With its deserted beaches, mountain ranges,
national parks and rugged coastlines, it is easy to see why the
island state is world renowned for its staggering natural beauty.
Approximately 30% of Tasmania is protected wilderness making it
a popular draw card for hikers and lovers of nature worldwide.
